Terms & Conditions
Welcome to CILI (jcili.com). By using our site and purchasing our products, you agree to these terms. These terms may be updated periodically; continued use means you accept any changes.
Vintage & Upcycled Nature. CILI is an art studio that works exclusively on sourced vintage and upcycled garments. We do not manufacture clothing; we re-contextualize existing pieces. Signs of wear (fading, small distress, unique fits) are inherent to the medium and are not considered defects.
Products. Every piece is a one-of-one bleach art garment. Images aim to be accurate, but because bleach is an organic chemical reaction, small tone variations are normal.
Ordering & Pricing. We may limit or cancel orders, correct pricing/stock errors, and refuse service where necessary (e.g., fraud risk). Sales tax is collected where required by law.
Age. You must be 18+ or have guardian permission to purchase.
Intellectual Property. All artwork, graphics, product names, copy, photos, and video are owned by CILI. Do not copy, reproduce, or redistribute without permission.
Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CILI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products.
Governing Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
Shipping & Handling
Processing Times.
- In-Stock / The Pile: Ships in 1–3 business days after art completion.
- Made-to-Order (The Hunt): Sourcing typically takes 7–21 days. Production begins immediately after the garment is secured. Total turnaround is generally 2–4 weeks.
Sourcing Protocol. For specific vintage requests, we hunt for your item within our network. If we cannot locate a high-quality vintage blank matching your specs within 14 days, we will contact you to discuss alternatives or a refund.
Destinations. We currently ship to the U.S. International customers are responsible for all duties/taxes/fees incurred at customs.
Lost/Damaged in Transit. If a package is marked delivered but missing, check with neighbors/building first. Report damage/loss to the carrier and email us within 7 days so we can help file a claim.
Incorrect Address. Please double-check your shipping address. We’re not responsible for non-delivery due to address errors.
Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
All Sales Final. Due to the bespoke, one-of-one nature of our work and the unique sizing of vintage garments, all sales are final. We do not offer returns for sizing issues (please verify measurements before buying) or for the natural distress inherent to vintage clothing.
Exceptions (Defects). If we made a clear error (e.g., wrong item sent) or there is a major structural failure not noted in the description, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will review photos to determine a remedy (repair, exchange, or store credit).
Cancellations (Sourcing Phase). For Made-to-Order items, you may cancel for a full refund at any time before we have purchased/secured your vintage blank. Once the blank is sourced, the deposit is non-refundable.
Custom Commissions (Special Terms)
Workflow. Submit your idea via the customs form. If approved, you’ll receive a private deposit link. We begin sourcing/production after the deposit is paid.
Sourcing Policy. We prioritize hunting for vintage/upcycled blanks. We do not use new wholesale blanks. If your specific size/color is rare, sourcing may take longer than standard estimates.
Send-In Garments. You ship your own garment at your cost.
- Requirements: 80–100% Cotton. Heavyweight fabric recommended.
- Risk: While we treat every send-in with extreme care, we are not responsible for shrinkage, dye bleeding, or pre-existing defects.
Pricing Guide (Estimates). Tops (Sourced Vintage): $240–$420. Bottoms (Sourced Vintage): $200–$360. Send-In Service (Labor Only): $150–$300. Final quotes depend on coverage and sourcing costs.
Balance Payment. We invoice the remaining balance only when the piece is finished and ready to ship.
Privacy Policy
What we collect. Name, email, shipping/billing addresses, order details, and files/notes you upload. Basic device/cookie data for site functionality and analytics.
How we use it. To process orders, fulfill custom commissions (including sourcing requests), prevent fraud, and improve our site. We may send you transactional emails and occasional drop alerts (you can unsubscribe anytime).
Payments. We use secure processors (WooPayments/Stripe). Your full card data is never stored on our servers.
Sharing. We share only what’s necessary with service providers (payments, shipping carriers). We do not sell your data.
Your rights. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your data. Email us to make a request.
